  12. NOTE TO UAE/FELLOW USERS:
  13. - This WHDload patch is configured and made possible using a REAL Amiga!
  14. If you are able to play this install on your emulator, this comes with no
  15. assurances that the install will be trouble free, and as such, NO mail can
  16. be answered in relation to bugs occuring on anything other than a
  17. REAL Amiga!  If any serious problems occur as a result of using this patch
  18. on your emulated machine, please consider reporting the problem to the 
  19. author of the emulator you are using.

  21. REQUIREMENTS:
  22. - Slave requires WHDLOAD V14+.
  23. - Demo requires 0.5 MB Chip Mem (+ 0.5 MB other memory for preload option)

  27. - Level 3 Interrupt rewritten
  28. - Level 2 Interrupt RTE installed 
  29. - Soundtracker Init performed BEFORE we try to play module!!!!
  30. - DMA initialised properly!!!!
  31. - Audio filter switched off
  32. - Several Blitter waits added
  33. - Replay routine replaced (o4o/o6o)
  34. - Reset routine patched to exit demo
  35. - Quit option is 'Del' or Left mouse button

  39. First sine scroller only runs in 25Mhz, this is unavoidable as I had 
  40. to put some blit waits in, this doesn't affect the rest of the demo.

  42. The music is the classic OCC SAN GEEN by Uncle Tom... enjoy!

  44. The original Soundtracker replay routine in this demo is absolutely 
  45. diabolical!!!  I really DONT know how the music played properly.
  46. It wasn't just a case of slapping some DMAwaits in, the whole replay
  47. was just horrible!!!!

  49. I have replaced it with a Protracker routine I have been using for years
  50. which means every instrument is played as it should be.

  52. Maybe Bert can include my replayer in WHDload as I intend to fix a lot of
  53. the old demos, and this was when Soundtracker and GMC ruled the world!
